A common failure on all Discovery 3 and 4 models is the end of the cable snapping off the latch assembly. When it fails you cant get the boot to open and access is impossible!
To date the only fix has been to change the whole latch assembly which inherits the same design fault and it will only be a matter of time when the failure returns.
We have created a alternative fix and with this kit you can permanently re-attach the broken end of the cable to the actuator, without having to strip the whole assembly from the car.
